HOW TO REGISTER FOR MEETS
(and meet protocol)

All meets are run through DiveMeets.com. Please go to their website and register your diver with them (it is free).
Go to 'Login' and follow the directions. You will not be able to register for any meets until you have a divemeets ID.
(All our meets are USD sanctioned except for AAU IL Championships and AAU Nationals)
(So please make sure you are registered with both USD and the AAU)
Meets are usually posted on divemeets a couple of weeks before the competition date. When meets are posted they will appear on the right column of the home page. Click on a meet to register for it - all information is found therein. Parent and diver should both become familiar with this process. Please note registration cut off dates to avoid late fees.
The diver fills their sheet out online - there is no paper hard copy needed. The diver only needs to check in at a registration table at the meet site to sign off on their dive list.
This is the first thing to be done when arriving at meet!
It is the discretion of the meet host to set event orders. Typically one day will be girls 1 meter and boys 3 meter (all age groups), and that flip flops the next day. Platform events are mixed into that format.
The meet manager will send out a guesstimated timeline - usually the day after registration closes. This will then supersede what is on divemeets.
Divers should arrive at meets 1 hour prior to their scheduled warm-up time - so as to check in, stretch out and prepare for competition. This also helps if meets are running faster than expected.
Divers should not leave a meet before getting feedback from the coach on their performance;
and/or receiving an award if applicable.
